Sales Representative

Location: Jackson Metro Area Type: Part-time

Kismar Computer Repair and Data Recovery is seeking to fill our sales representative position with an enthusiastic, career minded, individual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. This position has responsibility for leading the sales division and reports to Kismar’s Director.


Required Qualification:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Above average computer skills with experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Minimum one year experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Enthusiasm, reliability and the ability to multi-task.
  • Willing to work on some weekends.
  • The ability to be assertive and professional in greeting and attracting new clients to Kismar

Desired Qualification:

  • Past industry related or equivalent experience. Ideal candidate must be confident in a selling environment that entails internet or software products & services.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Duties include

  • Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate
  • Develop and manage client & agency relationships
  • Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner
  • Assisting with sales/marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the Jackson Metro Area to generate new business for Kismar.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Participates in trade shows, conventions, festivals and other social events.

Hours: Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. 20 to 25 hours per week.

Payment: Base payment plus sales commission.
